This micro reflex sight with a golden SPR reticle is characterized by smart Shake Awake™ technology, long operating life, a robust aluminum housing, a sight line elevation, and its low weight.

The ARO-EVO is the consistent further development of the ARO (Advanced Rifle Optic). It features an entirely new housing design with a 26mm objective diameter. This provides a significantly larger field of view, giving the user more information about the target area, leading to faster and improved target response and resulting in optimized hit performance. The new lower 1/3 co-witness pedestal mount ensures an absolutely shot-proof connection to the weapon's Picatinny rail. The newly designed housing fits perfectly with our series of magnifiers. Moreover, the ARO-EVO is equipped with the new Special Purpose Reticle (SPR). This is a reticle with hold marks for bullet drop compensation (BDC) at various engagement distances. This is a feature integrated into optics to help the shooter compensate for a projectile's trajectory deviation over larger distances.

Due to gravity, a projectile follows a curved trajectory after leaving the barrel, resulting in it dropping with increasing distance to the target. Our SPR reticle with integrated BDC contains special markings that allow the shooter to directly compensate for various target distances without manually adjusting the optic or the range. These markings are calibrated to offset the specific bullet drop at certain distances. With BDC, the shooter can accurately hit the target at different distances by simply aiming over the corresponding hold mark. This is particularly advantageous in situations where quick target acquisition and adjustment are necessary, as often encountered in tactical or hunting environments. The user-friendliness lies in the shooter being able to perform distance measurement and compensation intuitively, enhancing accuracy at various distances. It features a fine 1.5 MOA point in the center, optimal for use even at greater distances, which covers very little of the target. The 65 MOA ring is for ultra-fast target acquisition at close ranges. Paired with the hold marks for precise bullet drop determination and range estimation up to about 300 meters, this reticle, especially in combination with one of our magnifiers, can achieve optimal results up to medium shooting distances.

The SPR reticle is suitable not only for professional users but also particularly for users without tactical training and experience, as the reticle is extremely intuitive to use. Aiming over the respective hold marks automatically brings the muzzle of the weapon into a different deflection to compensate for the dropping trajectory of the projectile. The ARO-EVO-SPR is available with the novel Special Purpose Reticle in red, green, and gold. When ordering, you decide on the optimal reticle color for you, depending on personal preference, prevailing application environment, or eye conditions (for instance, red-green color blindness, where we recommend the gold reticle).
