The housing is made of 7075 aluminum and is black anodized for long-lasting durability. Holosun AEMS combines a large field of view in a compact, lightweight package. The ARO-EVO is the consistent further development of the ARO (Advanced Rifle Optic). It features a completely new housing design with a 26mm objective diameter. This provides a significantly larger field of view, allowing the user to gain more information about the target area, resulting in faster and improved target engagement and thereby optimized hit performance. With the new lower 1/3 Co-Witness pedestal mount, there is an absolutely shot-proof connection to the weapon's Picatinny rail. The newly designed housing perfectly matches our series of magnifiers. Additionally, the ARO-EVO is equipped with the new Special Purpose Reticle (SPR). This is a reticle with hold marks for compensating bullet drop at different operational distances (Bullet Drop Compensation - BDC). This is a function integrated into optics to help the shooter compensate for the trajectory deviation of a projectile over longer distances. Due to gravity, a bullet follows a curved trajectory after leaving the barrel, causing it to drop as the distance to the target increases. Our SPR reticle with integrated BDC includes special markings that allow the shooter to directly compensate for different target distances without manually adjusting the scope or sight-in distance. It combines a precise reflex sight with an advanced digital night vision system that operates in the infrared range. Incoming light waves are captured, electronically amplified, and displayed on an integrated OLED display. Thanks to digital technology, the user has a variable zoom range from 1 to 8 times magnification. The DRS-NV features an LED-MRS (Multi-Reticle System) with three digital reticle options, a digital night vision sensor with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and up to 60 frames per second, 8x digital zoom, and digital image and video recording with integrated memory. The DRS is powered by two rechargeable 18350 batteries with a runtime of 6 hours in full operation and 8 hours in observation mode. An integrated magnetic coupler connects the DRS with USB for charging the batteries or with a PC for downloading recorded images and videos. The night vision system features internal memory and the ability to record videos and still images for later playback. Power is supplied by two rechargeable 18350 batteries (included) or alternatively by two CR123 batteries. Important: Only rechargeable batteries should be charged via the USB cable – charging disposable batteries can damage the device. This micro reflex sight with a golden SPR reticle is characterized by smart Shake Awake™ technology, long operating life, a robust aluminum housing, a sight line elevation, and its low weight. The ARO-EVO is the consistent further development of the ARO (Advanced Rifle Optic). It features an entirely new housing design with a 26mm objective diameter. This provides a significantly larger field of view, giving the user more information about the target area, leading to faster and improved target response and resulting in optimized hit performance. The new lower 1/3 co-witness pedestal mount ensures an absolutely shot-proof connection to the weapon's Picatinny rail. The newly designed housing fits perfectly with our series of magnifiers. Moreover, the ARO-EVO is equipped with the new Special Purpose Reticle (SPR). This is a reticle with hold marks for bullet drop compensation (BDC) at various engagement distances. This is a feature integrated into optics to help the shooter compensate for a projectile's trajectory deviation over larger distances. Due to gravity, a projectile follows a curved trajectory after leaving the barrel, resulting in it dropping with increasing distance to the target. Our SPR reticle with integrated BDC contains special markings that allow the shooter to directly compensate for various target distances without manually adjusting the optic or the range. These markings are calibrated to offset the specific bullet drop at certain distances. With BDC, the shooter can accurately hit the target at different distances by simply aiming over the corresponding hold mark. This is particularly advantageous in situations where quick target acquisition and adjustment are necessary, as often encountered in tactical or hunting environments. The user-friendliness lies in the shooter being able to perform distance measurement and compensation intuitively, enhancing accuracy at various distances. It features a fine 1.5 MOA point in the center, optimal for use even at greater distances, which covers very little of the target. The ARO-EVO is the consistent further development of the ARO (Advanced Rifle Optic). It features an entirely new housing design with a 26mm objective diameter. This provides a significantly larger field of view, allowing the user to gather more information about the target area, leading to faster and improved target response and consequently optimized hit performance. The new lower 1/3 co-witness pedestal mount ensures an absolutely shot-resistant connection to the weapon's Picatinny rail. The newly designed housing fits perfectly with our series of magnifiers. In addition, the ARO-EVO is equipped with the new Special Purpose Reticle (SPR). This is a reticle with hold marks for bullet drop compensation (BDC) for different engagement distances. This is a feature integrated into optics to help the shooter compensate for the trajectory deviation of a projectile over greater distances. Due to gravity, a projectile follows a curved trajectory after leaving the barrel, causing it to drop with increasing distance to the target. Our SPR reticle with integrated BDC contains special markings that allow the shooter to directly compensate for various target distances without manually adjusting the scope or the zeroing distance. These markings are calibrated to offset the specific bullet drop at certain distances. With BDC, the shooter can precisely hit the target at various distances by simply aiming over the corresponding hold mark. This is particularly beneficial in situations where quick target acquisition and adjustment are necessary, as often occurs in tactical or hunting environments. The ease of use lies in the fact that the shooter can intuitively perform rangefinding and compensation, increasing accuracy at different distances. It features a fine 1.5 MOA dot at the center that minimally obscures the target, even at greater distances. The 65MOA ring allows for ultra-fast target acquisition at close range. Combined with the hold marks for precise bullet drop determination and range estimation up to about 300m, optimal results can be achieved up to medium shooting distances with this reticle, especially when paired with one of our magnifiers.
