This micro reflex sight with a green SPR reticle features smart Shake Awake™ technology, long battery life, a robust aluminum housing, a raised sightline, and lightweight design.

The ARO-EVO is the consistent further development of the ARO (Advanced Rifle Optic). It features an entirely new housing design with a 26mm objective diameter. This provides a significantly larger field of view, allowing the user to gather more information about the target area, leading to faster and improved target response and consequently optimized hit performance. The new lower 1/3 co-witness pedestal mount ensures an absolutely shot-resistant connection to the weapon's Picatinny rail. The newly designed housing fits perfectly with our series of magnifiers. In addition, the ARO-EVO is equipped with the new Special Purpose Reticle (SPR). This is a reticle with hold marks for bullet drop compensation (BDC) for different engagement distances. This is a feature integrated into optics to help the shooter compensate for the trajectory deviation of a projectile over greater distances.

Due to gravity, a projectile follows a curved trajectory after leaving the barrel, causing it to drop with increasing distance to the target. Our SPR reticle with integrated BDC contains special markings that allow the shooter to directly compensate for various target distances without manually adjusting the scope or the zeroing distance. These markings are calibrated to offset the specific bullet drop at certain distances. With BDC, the shooter can precisely hit the target at various distances by simply aiming over the corresponding hold mark. This is particularly beneficial in situations where quick target acquisition and adjustment are necessary, as often occurs in tactical or hunting environments. The ease of use lies in the fact that the shooter can intuitively perform rangefinding and compensation, increasing accuracy at different distances. It features a fine 1.5 MOA dot at the center that minimally obscures the target, even at greater distances. The 65MOA ring allows for ultra-fast target acquisition at close range. Combined with the hold marks for precise bullet drop determination and range estimation up to about 300m, optimal results can be achieved up to medium shooting distances with this reticle, especially when paired with one of our magnifiers.

The SPR reticle is suitable not only for professional users but also particularly for users without tactical training and experience, as the reticle is extremely intuitive to use. By aiming over the respective hold marks, the muzzle of the weapon is automatically brought into a different deflection to compensate for the dropping trajectory of the bullet. The ARO-EVO-SPR is available with the innovative Special Purpose Reticle in red, green, and gold. When ordering, you decide on the optimal reticle color for you, depending on personal preference, prevailing operational environment, or any existing eye conditions (such as red-green color blindness, in which case we recommend the gold reticle).
