The Holosun IRIS-1-RD is a sleek, single-function laser aiming device developed for users who demand maximum reliability with minimal weight. The redesigned 7075 Aluminium housing achieves a weight reduction of approximately 33% and a 20% lower profile compared to the LS117 series - ideal for modern rifles and compact platforms. The visible dot laser with a wavelength of 635 nm nm and an output power of < 5 mW (Visible Laser Class 3R) provides a sharp aiming point. The IRIS module is operated via a centrally located, ergonomically placed push button (Top-Fire) with Momentary and Constant-ON modes, as well as a rear Power/Mode Selector; additionally, a single-button pressure pad (Crane-Plug / Gel Button) is included, allowing for remote activation at any location. The device runs on AA batteries, indicates low battery status via LED, and is protected against intrusion according to IP 68 - robust enough for tactical operations.
